Javier Agusto Muñoz, a 25-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the 3500 block of East 6th Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly before 1 p.m., Muñoz was walking in an alley when he was shot, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Muñoz was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:33 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
Police are trying to determine a suspect description.
