Jesus Rodriguez Lopez, 45

Jesus Rodriguez Lopez, a 45-year-old Latino, died a day after being shot in the 900 block of Academy Road in Elysian Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 4:35 p.m. on March 9, officers responded to a call of a shooting. Police later found that Lopez was involved in a dispute with another person, who pulled out a handgun and shot him multiple times, according to an LAPD news release.

Lopez was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead at 1:02 a.m. the next day, according to coroner’s records.
