Osvaldo Ruelas, 36
Osvaldo Ruelas, a 36-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Aug. 20, in the 3100 block of South Halm Avenue in Mid-City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ruelas was the victim of a drive-by shooting, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.
He was shot in the upper torso about 10:56 p.m. and died at a hospital less than 35 minutes later, Winter said.
