Allen Raeshawn Bowen, 19

Allen Raeshawn Bowen, a 19-year-old black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the 7500 block of South Figueroa Street in Vermont Knolls, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., Bowen walked out of a liquor store and got into an altercation with two people, said Los Angeles Police Det. David Dilkes.

Both of them pulled out guns and shot Bowen, police said.

Bowen was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:45 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

The gunmen were waiting outside the store, but it’s unclear whether they were waiting for Bowen.
