Christopher Thomas Rothschild-Cleveland, 27

Christopher Thomas Rothschild-Cleveland, a 27-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Oct. 25, in the 400 block of Washington Boulevard in Marina Del Rey, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records. 

Rothschild-Cleveland was found in the parking lot of the Islands Restaurant about 3:40 a.m., said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Holly Francisco. 

The restaurant was closed at the time of the shooting, she said. Witnesses told deputies they heard gunshots and tried to perform CPR until paramedics arrived, Francisco said, but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:50 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to coroner's records. 

Rothschild-Cleveland lived in Marina Del Rey, Francisco said, but investigators don't know what he was doing in the parking lot at that hour of the morning. 

Investigators don't have any description of the person or persons responsible for the shooting.
