Cristian Tobar Monterrozo, a 18-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, March 21, after being stabbed near 17315 Saticoy St. in Lake Balboa, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

My dad and siblings was a first hand witness on this case. They were grabbing tacos at the corner when they were startled by a crash and then saw The driver immediately try to leave the scene and when my dad opened the door of the passenger seat Cristian immediately fell to the ground with blood everywhere. As my dad tried to chase the driver down shouting “if you don’t come back here I will catch you” my brother was giving Cristian CPR but unfortunately lost his pulse at the scene. The driver ended up coming back and that’s when the police took over the scene. No matter what the situation is, the person who took Cristians life should be in jail. no one should be able to walk away after they took someone’s life. It is unfair that they came up with a conclusion of lack of evidence in such a short amount of time. He needs to pay for what he did.

Benzo was nothing but a beautiful soul, he was the most kind hearted kid i have ever met. ever since i met him i have known him for his music he was sooo good at it and he loved doing it. he used to call me and tell me about problems that he was going through and telling me he wanted to stop making music because he didnt know what to rap about. i told him all the time when he tells me his problems he could
make that into a song because its all from the heart and he said i was right. he said he was gonna make a new song soon. i will never forget the one time he was supposed to preform for his birthday and i took him to his show and it got canceled, he would always tell me he was gonna preform for me one day 🥺 i never got that day. i will never forget anything about him he literally would give down to the last penny he had to make sure everyone got what they needed. everyone who know Benzo had so much love for him because he is just a wholesome person who liked to kick it and make music. Never have i ever met anyone with such a big passion. i will never forget the name Rn$ forever and always 👼🏼🕊
