Dalton Rahman, an 18-year-old white man, was shot and killed by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies on Thursday, Nov. 5, in the 17000 block of Orkney Street in unincorporated Los Angeles County, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 8:30 p.m., after a car chase in the unincorporated section of Azusa in the San Gabriel Valley, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect crashed the car and fled to the backyard of a house on Orkney, according to the statement. A police dog went after the suspect.

When deputies got the suspect to the ground, he grabbed one of the deputies' guns and fired several rounds, according to the statement.

No deputies were injured.

The suspect was shot several times by another deputy and was pronounced dead at the scene.

What kind of idiot grabs the cop's gun and starts shooting? Newsflash: when you do that, you're going to die. Period. And as for your comment, Tony, since you obviously don't believe he grabbed the gun, do you also think the cops made up that part about the car chase and crash? ...About the dog chasing him down in the backyard? Do you imagine Dalton was calm and rational during all of this? Some of you people seem to lack any ability or objectivity to judge things as the facts before you demand. Just biased against the cops I guess, and it is amazing to me how blinded by your bias you are. And what's really scary is that folks like you, with your irrational biases might end up on a jury some day. (remember the OJ Simpson jury?). Why don't you dump your emotional baggage, your chip on the shoulder and try, just try to be objective for once.
