Daryl Robinson, 24

Daryl Robinson, a 24-year-old black man, was fatally shot Sunday, June 19, in the 6700 block of South Main Street in Florence, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Robinson was the victim of a walk-up shooting, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. He was shot at 8:26 p.m. and died less than 20 minutes later.

Coroner's records show he was shot in the left side of his head.

Winter said that no suspects are in custody.

I miss my baby so much. I just can't believe that some people don't have any respect for life. I just don't understand why some people can just take another life. Do they know that they have family too. The kind of hurt that I feel in my heart for my baby, I don't wish that on anyone, and I guess whom ever killed my baby will never feel that kind of hurt until they lose someone that they really love. I ask and pray that God revel his killer to the cops so that justice will be prevail. I'm the kind of person that wouldn't wish dealth on another person cause everybody haves family and I won't want anyone to hurt as bad as my family and I has been hurt. Daryl has 2 beauitful children that the killer took him away from, and to top it off, they killed my baby on Father's Day right after he had just finish spending the day with his children. His 6 year old son was crying cause he wanted to go with his Dad, and Daryl told his son that he would be back in an hour. But he never got a chance to make it back to his son. We are all human with lots of imprefections cause nobodies prefect, but Daryl's was one of the best father a kid could have. SO IF THERE IS ANYONE THAT KNOW ANYTHING, I MEAN ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPEN AND WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT TO KILL MY BABY PLEASE CONTACT THE LAPD.
