Delmiro Lopez, 46

Delmiro Lopez, a 46-year-old Latino, died Sunday, March 18, at St. Francis Medical Center in the 3600 block of East Imperial Highway in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Lopez and his wife got drunk at an unknown location.

At some point, Lopez fell backwards and hit his head. It was unclear if he fell back on his own or was pushed by his wife.

After Lopez struck his head, he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:29 a.m., Winter said.

Winter said an autopsy was still pending. He had no other details about the case.
