Edward Simental, 41
Edward Simental, a 41-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Jan. 26 in the 13200 block of Rosecrans Avenue in Norwalk, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 6:18 p.m., a white van pulled up near Simental, who was standing at a bus stop, and parked, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials said.
A man got out of the van, walked up to Simental and shot him multiple times, authorities said.
The assailant got back in the van and left.
Simental was pronounced dead at the scene.
