Frederick Virgil Holder, a 28-year-old Black male, died Wednesday, June 23, after being shot by law enforcement near Piuma Avenue & Alondra Boulevard in Norwalk, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Fred holder was my ex boyfriend. We had not spoken in weeks becuz we finally called it quits after months of trying to break up. I’ll be honest Fred broke my heart. Even had a baby while we were together. But hearing the news of his passing I am flabbergasted! He was the kindest person on the earth! He didn’t believe in violence especially police brutality. He made me laugh until it hurt and he always knew what to say wen I was sad. His singing voice was contagious and he was so silly and always hungry! I love you Freddy! You were my person! Thank u for taking the time out to truly get to know me and for loving me so purely. You taught me so much about myself and there isn’t enough words to describe how much I will miss you. Until we meet again. Rest in paradise ❤️😢
