Authorities seek tips in slaying of woman shot on 91 freeway
L.A. County sheriff’s homicide detectives are asking for the public's help to identify the gunman who killed Marisol Aguayo, a 22-year-old Latina, in a car-to-car shooting on the 91 Freeway on Nov. 26.
Investigators said Aguayo, a passenger in the car, was traveling west on the 91 Freeway about 8:15 p.m. when she was shot by an unknown person in another vehicle near the Wilmington Avenue exit.
The driver of Aguayo's car, who was not hit by gunfire, drove her to a gas station, but she died before she could be transferred by paramedics to a hospital.
