Kevin Castillo, 20

Kevin Castillo, a 20-year-old Latino man, was shot in the 1600 block of Manor Circle about 10:11 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.

According to Pomona police, Castillo was standing outside with a group of friends when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and began shooting at them. Castillo was hit and was taken by car to Pomona Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:28 p.m.

he was loved by alot of people friendly always happy always willing to help he was like another brother to me him and his family before his parents seperated were really good friends with mine so me an kevin were really close we graduated same year 2007 even though he was a year older than me...my brothers and him and a couple of guys from were we live played sofftball every sunday even though he like playing softball tht wasnt his number one priority he wanted to be a boxing champ..but thanks to people tht dont care to hurt other people he never got a chance to even try... it hurts so much and i miss him so much now i have a little nephew named after him and his always going to remind me of him i miss you kevin...watch over us like you been doing...until the day we meet again...
