Levon Deshon Hoy, 32

Levon Deshon Hoy, a 32-year-old black man, was fatally shot Sunday, Sept. 2, in the 9800 block of South Hobart Boulevard in Gramercy Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Hoy was approached on foot by an unknown assailant and shot several times about 3:43 a.m., according to Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. The killer fled.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:59 a.m.

Anyone with information about the killing or the identity of the killer is asked to contact Det. Crossman or Officer Hartman at the LAPD Criminal Gang & Homicide Division at (213) 485-1383. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
