Man charged with killing grandparents in Glendale
A 34-year-old man was charged July 7 with killing his grandparents with an ax in the Glendale home they lived in for more than 20 years, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Nathaniel Wayne Scheiern, a white man, was charged with two counts of capital murder with the special circumstance of multiple murders, prosecutors said.
Nathaniel Scheiern is accused of killing Verna Scheiern, 82, and William Scheiern, 77, on June 24 or June 25. Police found their bodies on June 28.
