Michael Rosas, 25, a Latino man, was shot at 11412 Maxine St. in Whittier and died at 10:47 p.m. Sunday, May 27. He was found dead in the street.

To the Rosas Cousin: I was there very much there on arlee st and easily but for the sake of God that night my flesh and blood were all spared by the shot gun blasts. I of course will be the first to say nobody deserved what happened that night again but for the grace of God mine didnt get hit. I truly am sorry for any loss in such a tragic way for any family to have to go thru and live with for the rest of there lives. But I turly needed to blog what isnt been said by friends, family ect of michaels. He didnt have to die its where he himself put himself and where another was protecting them self is what happened. I thank the Norwalk Superior Court System for showing the DA that there case of Miguel Cardenas was not founded since all charges in the Whittier PD investigation have been dropped and never got close to a trial, I was there each court date as Michaels father was each court date with our friends/family and that was a blessed day to chreish.
