Patrick Ho, a 45-year-old Asian man, was stabbed to death Sunday, Aug. 1, in the 1300 block of West Carson Street in Harbor Gateway, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ho and a group of people were using drugs at his home about 5:40 a.m. when he got into an argument with Jesse Hendricks, a 28-year-old white man, according to an LAPD news release.

Enraged, Hendricks pulled out a knife and stabbed Ho several times. Authorities were called and he was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, police said.

Later that day, LAPD Harbor police arrested Hendricks in connection with Ho’s killing. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

I would love to be able to do something for Pat, however being that I am not a blood relative or spouse I cannot. The only information they were able to offer was that his next of kin was notified and after the 3rd call they did tell me his sister was the party notified. They could not give me her information, but they could take mine down to give to her. I did let them know that there were alot of friends that wished to be notified if his family did not wish to pick him up, but unfortunately they cant provide much. It is a sad thing. As a parent I know we got to love our kids and no matter what I dont think I would ever turn my back on one of them. If anyone has any suggestions or information on this type of situation please pass it on. I would love to be able to contribute to Pat's final resting place. I loved him with all my heart. Rest in Peace Pat.

The last converstion pat and I had was about Life n Death."not ours". He was a Soulmate Brother. Given the opportunity, Pat Ho would for me. This I know as I live and breathe, now I live n breathe for him too. For every tear and rage I feel this comfort begging me to be forgiving. I want Justice and I want him to rest knowing that his existence meant something, payback is ....? And Pat has a lot of Brothers in prison. I can only hope that justice penetrates the soul of who makes me cry my eyes out today. Pat is all around me. and won't rest until justice is served, prison style? Like what happened to him. You live by the sword, you may even die by it. However, Lady Justice is blind, she serves and I Believe that if I am patient Pat, will handle this for me, so I may rest in whatever peace I can start to feel, when the numbness of my heart stops hurting. I met Pat Ho nine days after his release from prison. Shortly after we started seeing eachother. He had a Huge heart and was a kind, but lost soul. During the short period of time we spent together we became very close talking about a future together,growing old together. I'm going to miss him dearly. I LOVE U PAT HO & I'M MISSING U LIKE CRAZY. He would say I LOVE U LIKE CRAZY. He made me feel so loved the way he would just hold me in his arms. I felt that everything was going to be alright. I keep thinking this is a bad dream and that I'm going to wake up, but that never happens. He had told me once when we talked about death that he would come back as a hummingbird.Life is so short. I know he's at peace now and is resting. I LOVE U PAT. I'm lost without u please come back it hurts so much.
