Raymond Davila, 42
Raymond Davila, a 42-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Feb. 12, near South Central and Gladys avenues in downtown Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 3:17 a.m., police were called about a man with gunshot wounds, said Los Angeles Police Det. Doug Pierce. Davila was pronounced dead at 3:34 a.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
Police are working to identify a suspect, but they don't yet know what preceded the shooting, Pierce said.
In the days before the shooting, Davila was living out of his car, police said.
