Rosa Chavez, 55
Rosa Chavez, a 55-year-old Latina, was shot and killed Wednesday, Nov. 23, in the 700 block of Sierra Vista Court in La Puente, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Deputies responded to a home after receiving a call about 10:23 a.m. that there was a man with a gun. Authorities declined to say if the call was placed from the home.
When deputies arrived, they found the bodies of Chavez, her boyfriend, Luis Fraustro, a 66-year-old Latino, and another man.
Officials believe all three died in an apparent murder-suicide with Chavez and Fraustro being the victims.
According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, the shooter was identified as Francisco Sanchez, a 52-year-old Latino. He killed Chavez, an ex-girlfriend, and Fraustro before turning the gun on himself.
