Scott Michaels, 44
Scott Michaels, a 44-year-old white man, died Thursday, April 5, after sustaining blunt force trauma in the 11100 block of Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Michaels was discovered in an alley with possible blunt trauma to the chest. He was taken by paramedics to a hospital in Mission Hills for treatment.
It's unknown when the injury occurred, Winter said, however Michaels ultimately died from the trauma April 5 at 11:22 p.m.
Police said Michaels was a transient and investigators are continuing to investigate the death.
