Serafin Sandoval Garcia, 60
Serafin Garcia, a 60-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Thursday, Aug. 2, in the 11900 block of Arkansas Street in Artesia, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Authorities were called to the scene about 1:50 a.m., according to the Sheriff's Department. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcia’s preliminary coroner report shows he sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
No information was immediately available about the victim or the circumstances surrounding his death, said Deputy Peter Gomez. No arrests have been made at this time.
