Tilden Williams Jr., a 25-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, June 21, in the 5700 block of West Centinela Avenue in Westchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The shooting occurred about 6 p.m. Tilden was pronounced dead at the scene while another man, Reginald Bacot, a 44-year-old black man, died at a hospital.

Police detained a third man for questioning, but no arrests have been made, said Officer Tenesha Dobine.

The incident is being investigated as a possible robbery or burglary, Los Angeles police said.

KTLA News reported intruders may have been trying to rob a resident at an apartment complex. They are currently looking for the possible victim, who was likely shot.

"There's a fourth person that we think is likely a shooting victim, and we cannot account for their whereabouts," Lt. John Ratke told the TV station.

"We're trying to determine everybody's role right now, and it's just very important that we find this person that was likely injured in the gunfire," he said.
