Albert Beverly, 46

Albert Beverly, a 46-year-old black man, died after being pulled out of his wheelchair and struck repeatedly in the face Saturday, Jan. 10, at West 103rd Street and Main Street in Watts, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's.

Beverly had been shot at the age of 14 and then stabbed in the chest 14 years ago, according to coroner's reports. His left leg had been amputated at the knee, coroner's officials said.
