Bradley Meas, 32

Bradley Meas, a 32-year-old Asian man, was fatally shot Dec. 29  in the 2300 block of East 124th Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner records. 

Meas was standing on the sidewalk with four other people in front of an apartment complex around 5:30 p.m. when two adult males walked up to the group, according to a Long Beach Police Department news release. One of the newcomers yelled at the group and "subsequently  opened fire," striking Meas and another adult male. 

The suspects fled from the scene on foot before officers arrived, according to the release.

Meas and the other gunshot victim were taken to a nearby hospital where Meas was pronounced dead at 5:34 p.m., according to coroner's records. 

The second victim was treated for his wounds and released, according to the news release. 

Investigators don't know the exact motive for the shooting but believe it may be gang related, according to the release. 

Meas was a resident of Long Beach.
