Donald Eugene Wiley, 50

Donald Eugene Wiley, a 50-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Sept. 8, in the 3300 block of West 76th Street in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Wiley was found in a car with several gunshot wounds about 3 p.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. Authorities were called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the investigation, it was learned Wiley was sitting in the car when assailants pulled up and shot him, officials said.

There were no other details about the case.
