Emanual Zunquell Dorsey, 30

Emanual Dorsey, a 30-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, March 29, in the 1400 block of West 83rd Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Dorsey was walking at the location shortly after 5 p.m. when several people confronted him, according to an LAPD news release. Police officials said "for no apparent motive" the assailants shot Dorsey several times, ran to a getaway car, and drove east on 84th Street from Halldale Avenue. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Dorsey dead.

There is no description of the suspects at this time.
