Jaymee Rashaud Bandy, 23

Jaymee Rashaud Bandy, a 23-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, Nov. 9, in the 1600 block of East 118th Place in Willowbrook, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 2 a.m., Bandy was standing outside the Willow Brook Green Apartment complex when he was shot, said Lt. Eddie Hernandez with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

Several people were standing in the area when the shooting occurred, but no one stayed to talk to authorities, Hernandez said.

Bandy was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:10 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

“We have very little to go on unless somebody comes forward,” Hernandez said.

A vehicle was seen driving west on East 118th Place, away from the complex. A more concise description was not available.

Note: The coroner’s office listed the homicide in the 7600 block of East 118th Place. Authorities confirmed that the homicide occurred in the 1600 block.
