Jesse Armando Saldana-Alvarez, 19

Jesse Saldana-Alvarez, a 19-year-old Latino, was found dead Sunday, May 16, in the 12000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Lake View Terrace, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Saldana-Alvarez's body was discovered on the street, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:10 a.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. He had been shot several times in his torso and had a broken arm, according to coroner's records.

By the time his body was discovered, Saldana-Alvarez had been dead for several hours, said LAPD Foothill Det. Mario Santana.

Investigators do not have any leads in his case, Santana said.
