Robert Derel Moore, 39

Robert Derel Moore, a 39-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Sept. 8, in the 500 block of East Rhea Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Long Beach police officers were called to the residential area about 2 a.m. regarding a person down, according to a department news release. 

The officers found Moore lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the release. 

Moore, a resident of Long Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:05 a.m., according to coroner’s records. 

Investigators don’t have any information about suspects or a motive for the shooting, according to the police news release.
