Ruben Analco, an 18-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Feb. 7, in the 4100 block of South Compton Avenue in Central-Alameda, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Ancalo was standing on the sidewalk when someone walked up and shot him at 12:54 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:05 p.m., Winter said.
