Raigoza and Acosta were both Los Angeles Unified School District employees. At the time of her death he was a teacher at the City of Angels independent study school in Huntington Park.
Raigoza was arrested Feb. 29, 2008 at a motel in Yucca Valley and was still incarcerated without bail in a Los Angeles County jail as of January 2010, according to jail records.
