Edgar Aurelio Velasquez, a 26-year-old Latino male, died Monday, Aug. 15, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Cudahy, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

One of the nicest and friendliest people. Always smiling and making jokes. He was just a funny and kind person. He didn't deserve this. He worked so hard, he took the bus everyday to school. He never missed class unless he was working. He had a job and went to school he was trying to pursue his dreams. Only 26 years old and such a great artist and friend. Breaks my heart for his family. Edgar was one my first friends at ai. We had orientation together. We ate donuts and talked about art and anime. So sad the world we live. Be thankful for those you have in your life and be careful and watch your surroundings. Tell your loved ones and people you care about you love them because things happen in a blink of an eye. My condolences are to his family. Rest in peace Edgar you will be greatly missed.
