Enrique Ponce, a 23-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Oct. 23, near Avenue 51 and Marmion Way in Highland Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Ponce was the victim of a walk-up shooting.

He was shot about 12:30 a.m. and was taken to a hospital, where he died at 1:14 p.m.

The coroner's office had no other information about the case

I keep looking for white victims killed by non-whites so I can take to the streets and tear down my community in protest. I'm having a tough time.

So all this brown on brown, black on brown, brown on black, black on black is standard practice, by the THOUSANDS, yet 1 white on black and everyone of color is up in arms about it.

Think about the stupidity behind that logic. It's kind of like accepting the fact that dogs continue to kill other dogs and cats, but when a cat kills a dog we focus our attention, energy and hatred on the cat. How dare he!

Is ignorance really bliss? I believe these pages beg to differ.

As far as Meck? You all got it wrong. Syscom3 is a different person. It's obvious if you read their posts. Meck grows up in these streets, makes it out alive to live an honest life and take responsibility for his own actions, and he's getting crucified for his two cents. He should be commended.

If you read these blogs long enough, you'll see that ingredient is missing from these recipes. And you wonder why the food tastes like crap.

Bigger question is... who is the moderator allowing this one sided bash fest from that loser Meck? I have compiled a long list of hate comments that go back years (yeah, he's a big time loser) and I'm physically mailing it to the La Times... this has to stop, she also goes by Syscom3. What kind of idiot thinks he knows the life, character and personality of a dead youngster simply by a comment? That's is just proof what a worthless mentally deranged lonely broke sad pathetic person Meck is in real life "well, the comment sounded gang related... turr turr turr, he deserved it"... that's called dementia, hate and prejudice. We got a case of the low-pro racist... bless all the dead. A man is judged by his character, and obviously you are the man you are trying to portray this youngsters as... a man who probably deserves it.

I didn't know Mr. Ponce nor do I know you. I see your name on all of these homicide reports bashing these young men who have seen the end far too soon. While I understand your frustration with gangs, etc., it is disgusting that you make comments such as, "Not ones that terrorize people and their neighborhoods" when you didn't even know this young man.

How do you know he was a "domestic terrorists" and not simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Look in the mirror, Meck; I'm sure you are not as pure as you imagine yourself to be. Stop judging people you don’t know and stop hurting those who were affected by these unfortunate deaths. Stop portraying yourself as the one who knows best and does nothing… If you want to change your neighborhood, get involved in these young people’s lives.

You've been exposed before. Don't make yourself look foolish with your constant lying. Your comments lost validity a long time ago. If anyone's comments should be ignored, it should be yours. You actually think people are going to believe you were a witness or were friends with the victim on so many of these homicides. What a pitiful way of trying to get attention.
