Manuel Morales, a 19-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, July 31, in the 600 block of South Hamilton Boulevard in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Morales was standing in front of a house about 12:25 a.m. when a person drove by and shot at him.

According to coroner's records, Morales was struck several times.

After the shooting, the victim ran into the home, where he collapsed, Winter said.

Morales was pronounced dead at 12:50 a.m.

by the comments on here manuel rip was in fact innocent..if lil minor was shooting people and not expect for people to shoot back he's not as smart as he thinks cuz he obviously got his innocent brother killed for his actions and the killer might rot in jail but living life knowing that my brother got killed because of me is a burden way heavier to carry than a life time in jail. i feel for his mother and those closest to him.. the person that got shot by lil minor shoulda been a snitch just like him too cuz then it would be lil minor behind bars for life and his brother would be alive still..but you people still woulda been mad!

you act like you know much too. First off all ur comment "don't shoot n expect not to get hit back". Make sure u hit ur target person not innocent PPL. And coward fact support the comment they drove by couldn't get off the car n b a man n stand in front of his face n shoot. So that's why they killed the wrong person. Right or wrong. If u have No true fact keep your comments n go join them in prison. You say lil mainer goes around shooting obvious he's not in jail so until theres evidence hes shooting dont open ur mouth cause no one slips from the system un less ur really smart something ur boys aint there's No need for No one to point No one out they make themselves expose with their stupidness. They know they are worthless that's why they are out in the streets. Its unfortunate many times their own family sets them a bad example.and its inocent familys who pay the consequences. For instance manuel left us at such a young age. Leaving his loved ones behind a death its something that can't be cured with anything. They think their tough going around with a gun. But behind bars they put there head down & think that about reality. Too bad there life is now in prison facing life. They probably regret what they did. They thought they would get away with it like they probably gotten away with other crimes.
God. & justice is with the Morales family & we best to believe this case. Will end with the best outcome
Hoping to God that the judge veridicts them to LIFE that's the least they can get. The day of there sentence will celebrate the way they celebrated and innocent persons death.
They will die slowly n suffer for many years.
While our loved one is restinng peacefully happy knowing there in prison & won't give another family the pain they given us.
This pain nothing can take it away our only hope is that he will b waiting for us & someday will b together.
