Marcos Perez, 40

Marcos Perez, a 40-year-old Latino, died Monday, June 22 after he was shot in the 4300 block of Lima Street in Central-Alameda, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

On June 21 about 11:30 p.m., Perez was standing on a sidewalk in the area when two vehicles – a small white sedan and a light-colored SUV – pulled up, LAPD Det. Richard Arciniega said.

A person inside the sedan opened fire, striking Perez, who was alone.

Perez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:17 a.m. on June 22, said Ed Winter, assistant chief of investigations for the coroner’s office.

just tell me stop it you would never hit me the closest to hitting me was u pull my ear one time and from that day I learn my lesson I remember I was cutting your plants and you asked me did you cut my plants and I told you no and you repeated the same question two more times you told me the third time I’m asking one more time if you lie to me I’m a hit you but in my mind I’m like my dad not gonna hit me boom I lied to you and what did you pull my ear but the point of this is to tell u that I love u I miss u I wish I could give u one big hug squeeze you as hard as I can And tell u that I love you I never told u dad that I’m Gay even though you knew A father knows his kids the best I I know that you would have still love me just as equally as your other kids I would’ve not been less than nobody else and you would of still loved me the Same bye dad I love u till we meet again 💙
