Min Yin, 75 [Updated]

Min Yin, a 75-year-old Asian man, died Monday, Dec. 26, three months after he was stabbed in the 1300 block of East 18th Street in downtown, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officials responded to a 911 call at 8:19 a.m. on Sept. 2, when a robbery occurred at a manufacturing plant. A struggle ensued with the perpetrators, in which Yin, an employee at the business, was stabbed, said LAPD Robbery Homicide Det. J. Guerra.

According to coroner’s records, Yin died from a stab wound to his abdomen. He was pronounced dead at 9:55 p.m., Dec. 26, at L.A. County-USC Medical Center.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Officials did not provide additional information about the case.
