Salvador Quinones, 47

Salvador Quinones, identified by the coroner's office as a 47-year-old white man, was fatally shot Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the 1500 block of East 22nd Street in Central-Alameda, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Quinones was standing on the front porch of his home about 8:55 p.m., when a person walked up and shot him, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

Authorities were called and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:47 p.m.

According to coroner's records, Quinones suffered gunshot wounds to his right arm and right side.
