Tammy Lynn Scretchings-Taylor, a 22-year-old black woman, was found dead in an alley east of Halldale Avenue between 95th and 96th streets in Lennox on Jan. 4, 1986.
Scretchings-Taylor, who had a prostitution arrest record, had been strangled.
Her death is among those listed by authorities as being connected to an unidentified serial killer operating in South Los Angeles.
