Eduardo Redolledo-Ramirez, a 33-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the 7200 block of Eton Avenue in Canoga Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner records.
Redolledo-Ramirez had just gotten off work about 5:50 p.m. and was sitting in his pickup preparing to drive home when he was struck by a stray bullet fired by suspected gang members at another car, said Los Angeles Police Department Det. Dave Peteque.
The car with the shooters came up behind a car carrying several Canoga Park gang members, Peteque said, and the people in the rear car began firing at the car in front. The rear car carried "multiple people" who are believed to be gang members who live outside Canoga Park, he said.
One person in the target car was injured and later treated and released at a local hospital, he said. No one else ...
