Chaz Micah Swayne, 23
Chaz Micah Swayne, a 23-year-old male, was fatally stabbed Saturday, April 27, in the 12500 block of South Cranbrook Avenue in Hawthorne, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police responding to an apartment building shortly before 3 a.m. found Swayne lying on a stairwell. He had been stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Los Angeles County sheriff's homicide detectives are assisting Hawthorne police in the investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to call the sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
