David Valdez, 53
David Valdez, a 53-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Jan. 10, in the 13400 block of Earnshaw Avenue in Downey, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 10:30 p.m., he was standing in a driveway when a person walked up to him and opened fire, said Sgt. Dwayne Cooper of the Downey Police Department.
Valdez was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:40 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
