Dwayne Smith, 31
Dwayne Smith, 31, a black man, was shot in the head and neck repeatedly at the intersection of 85th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood and died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, April 2.
According to Inglewood police, Smith was driving in a car with a woman. Assailants in a gray car pulled up alongside the pair, exchanged words with them, then shot them. The victims drove themselves to a hospital. Smith died; the woman survived. Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives at (310) 412-5246.
