Mulindwa K. Traylor, 24

Mulindwa Traylor, a 24-year-old black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the 1500 block of West 55th Street in Harvard Park, authorities said.

Los Angeles Police Det. Carlos Velasquez said Traylor was a documented member of the 55 Neighborhoods gang who was driving about 1:45 a.m. when he thought he saw a friend.

Velasquez said police determined that at that time, Traylor got out of his car and walked up to the man, a male black, and realized he was actually a rival gang member.

The shooter, a documented member of the 107 Hoovers, asked Traylor where he was from and shot him several times, Velasquez said. The man was arrested over the weekend, and Velasquez said he will be charged by Tuesday morning.

Velasquez declined to identify the suspect until charges are filed.

I guess you forgot about all that crap you posted before on a different person's homicide blog. Remember? You said how dare we say anything about these criminals, they have never had any opportunities, we don't know the history of gangs like you do, so how could we say anything, I'm sure you remember now. Helping the less fortunate is very admirable. But gang members are not the less fortunate. Do you know that? I and others strongly suggested you are not cut out to be a social worker because you are too sympathetic to gang members. I believe at one point you even the other posters on that blog trash. I really don't have time to repeat everything I told you before. But please, you are absolutely a gang sympathizer. Why do you pick on Meck and his loyalty to his old hood? The hell do you care? That to me is the same thing as a thug approaching a stranger and asking him where he is from. I don't know why you have this loyalty to these gang members, but something won't let you leave. Even here you say some garbage about how society is on board to give more sympathy to the denigrates of society due to the shootings in CT. What are you talking about? Yea, that's why gun sales have soared since that happened. The country is on board to shoot first and ask questions later. The Onion isn't really news, you know that right? Since you are a gang sympathizer, I'd say you aren't working hard enough. Where is your campaign to get us to stop hating that gang member who killed those two people on Christmas Day? Poor kid! He had no opportunities, so bummer, he just had to go driving around with 3 other gang members in the car with a loaded gun. Gee he was just curious as he slow rolled by a crime scene full of police and committed a moving violation. What choice did he have when they tried to pull him over but to flee? Thank God they ditched the gun. Too bad he had to run that red light and slam into a mini van, killing two people, one of them an 11 year old boy. Well gosh darned, he got arrested. Poor guy, so misunderstood, it's not his fault. So is this who we are not supposed to hate? I really want to call you stupid, but I feel like you are at such a disadvantage already, it's like kicking your wooden leg out and walking away. Besides calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people.

- This is the court of public opinion. Not a court for criminal justice. The deceased at the time of his demise was not charged for any criminal activity (although many people think being a documented gangster should be an offense in itself). We have the right to judge people through their actions, as being or not being a sociopath.

Wendy, don't listen to what syscom or any of the jerks say on here, they are NOT experts in what they talk about. The closest thing I've heard that even comes close to a fraction of "expertise" is that syscom took a CJ101 class at a community college. And that's it! None of them have gone to a university, none of them have acquired a social work/therapy lisence nor any achievement in law enforcement. They have also never, in addition to schooling, worked first hand with gangs and/or people of low income within LA. Fortunately, I have done all of those, so I am an expert on this subject, not them. Any rational person who isn't a judgemental angry dummie chooses to get their information from an ACTUAL expert. In the end, it just makes them look bad. By the way, I hope the deceased rests in peace, and happy holidays with warm wishes to his family.

Where have I ever indicated that I am a gang sympathizer? I work in gang INTERVENTION. In case you didn't know, that is the complete opposite. Meck is hateful and rude to the entire cause. If you have read most of his comments, he throws out insults left and right, completely degrading each person on this blog who has passed away. And for your information, I know PLENTY of people who have found a new life outside of the hood and don't have an inextinguishable hate for ANYONE. You think I'm stupid because I decided to help those less fortunate? Yeah, that's smart. I'd like to know what kind of insight and education both you and Meck have in general. Have either of you made a career out of insulting these people? Nope. The going salary for that is usually $0 per year. I've seen your posts too, and unfortunately dear, you are the ill informed and stupid person, not me or anyone else working in the same field as I.

— Justin ; you made a lot of accusations that need to be addressed.

First of all, 83% of the homicides in this blog are Latino or black. White homicides are a paltry 12% of which most are victims, not perpetrators. It isn't my fault that few white gangsters are listed in this blog.

Second, whenever a white gangster or criminal does make it onto this list, I use the same harsh words and criticism as black and Latino criminals. Long time readers know that to be a fact and this is not subject to debate.

Third, the editors of this blog only publish a fraction of the comments I make regarding these homicides. Many comments I have made for white homicides, or where I give condolences to black or latino victims of gang violence is not published. Its not my blog, so save your complaints for the editor. Not me.

Once again, I am accused of this and that yet no one can come up with proof or evidence.

As I have said on many occasions, my fondest hope is for the residents of these killing field neighborhoods to have good economic opportunities, good schools, quiet streets and where the leading cause of death is old age.

I still miss you. Nothing will ever let me forget you. I wish we could have hung out all the times we planned but I thought I would run into you agin in the hood like I always did so I always told u ill call u later. Now all I have is the memories of when and how we first met. Everytime u saw me u made it a point to turn back around n get out ur car evn if I didn't see you. I cnt forget those times. The last time I seen u, u had jus got the cast off ur arm. Wen ii was younger we use to hang out so much I thought we were together lol bt as I got older I realized wat kinda relationship we had n thts ok bcuz u always chckd up on me. Newsflash, Cali:

In case you haven't noticed, BY FAR the majority of the homicides in LA involve hispanics and blacks. Do you dispute that? Is that racist? Hell, you don't even know what race people are. If every single day in Malibu or Sherman Oaks there were roving bands of white thug gangbangers going around murdering people, you bet your little race-card playin' azz I'd be commenting on that too. But the fact remains, THAT'S NOT THE CASE. These are black and brown neighborhoods being destroyed from within by gangster scum, not white neighborhoods. These are, in the vast majority of cases, black and brown gangsters doing the killing. And, last but certainly not least, these are mainly black and brown victims. That is not an opinion, that is fact. Please dispute that. If you can't handle truth then get on the sideline, son.

To u ignorant people portraying this man as a gangster u don't know anything about him nor have u walked a day in his shoes so what's make you think u are making it to heaven for judging this man. He was human just like anyone else I don't give a damn where he was from no one has a right to take a life. Women have the right to give one. So don't speak up on someone who you know nothing about except what the articles say. Police officers are uniformed gang members that kill every day but we fail to realize that why because they are paid killers and carry a badge right? So all u negative people need to STFU and realize this man was somebodys son, dad, cousin, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
