Richard Trujillo Vidaurry, a 55-year-old Latino male, died Tuesday, May 7, after being shot in San Pedro, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

[Update, Sept. 3: Kelvin Kirkpatrick, 29, and Derrick Breedlove, 41, have each been charged with one count of murder in connection with Vidaurry’s slaying, said Shiara Davila-Morales, a spokeswoman with the L.A. County District Attorney’s office.
Kirkpatrick and Breedlove pleaded not guilty Aug. 19. Both men are being held on no bail and are due in court for a pre-hearing conference Sept. 17.]
