Robert Barlow Jr., 27

Robert Barlow Jr., a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Dec. 30, in the 2000 block of North Santa Fe Avenue in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers responded to a 911 call, and Barlow was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:21 p.m., authorities said. According to coroner’s records, Berry was shot multiple times in his torso.

“The victim was at the location socializing,” said Sheriff’s homicide Det. D. Retzlaff, who is handling the investigation.

Detectives are currently working the case and have not determined if the shooting was gang-related, she said.

Officials did not provide additional information about the killing.
