David Salas III, 32
David Salas III, a 32-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, April 8, in the 300 block of East Pearl Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Salas was shot in a residential neighborhood about 11:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:39 p.m.
During the investigation, police discovered a child had also been hit by the gunfire, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Winter had no other information about the case.
