Three charged in killing of Long Beach teen
Two 19-year-old black men and a 24-year-old Latina woman have been charged in the killing of a 16-year-old in Long Beach, authorities said.
Maria Martha Macias, Tyrone Devonte Moy and Marvin Tyree Lard were charged June 21 with murder with a gang allegation, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Moy also faces an allegation that he shot Geron Benard Lacy. Moy also faces a count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, prosecutors said.
On May 3, Geron Bernard Lacy got into a fight with Moy, Lard and Macias, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police said that the three left, then came back with a gun and shot Lacy.
The defendants are due in court July 12 for an arraignment, Sarah Ardalani, a spokeswoman with the district attorney’s office, said in an e-mail.
