Sentencings in seven homicide cases; updates on six

The Homicide Report has updates for 13 homicides that occurred in Los Angeles County.

Following are seven reports on people who were sentenced for killings. Click on the victims’ names for more information.

Gregory Douglas Miner: Sentenced in 2007 for the 2001 stabbing deaths of William and Betha Lasky in West Hills.

Leonel Roberto Moncada: Sentenced in 2007 for the 2004 killing of Elvira Mercedes Diaz in Lake Los Angeles.

Manuel Garcia: Sentenced this week for the 2012 beating and stabbing death of Jorge Hortencio Vallarades in North Hollywood.

Stephen Douglas Hoffman: Sentenced this week in the 2011 killing of 1-year-old Malaikye Payne in Azusa.

Louis Woo Lee: Sentenced in 2011 for the 2009 shooting death of Michael Kim in Koreatown.

Jonathan Martinez Pedraza: Sentenced in 2012 for the 2010 beating death of his father, Miguel Pedraza, in Irwindale.

Marcas Catrell Fisher: Sentenced in 2009 for the 2009 beating death of 6-year-old Dae’von Bailey in Green Meadows.

Samuel Anastacio Guzman, 20: Shot to death Tuesday, April 8, in Green Meadows.

Daniel Sarinana Jr., 32: Shot to death Sunday, April 6, in Arlington Heights.

Eric Mario Desarden, 28: Shot to death Saturday, April 5, in Willowbrook.

Angel Armando Cajero, 23: Shot to death Wednesday, April 2, in Lincoln Heights.

Dominique Lee Austin, 25: Shot to death Monday, March 31, in Inglewood.
