Details on six homicides
The Homicide Report has reported new details on six homicides: one each in Westmont, Beverly Crest and Van Nuys, and three in Long Beach. Click on the victims' names for more information.
Terry Lonnie Smith, 34: Died Saturday, April 12, after being shot April 5 in Westmont.
Angelo Armani Eppolito-Autry, 28: Shot to death Saturday, April 12, in Beverly Crest.
Ahkeem Dashawn Johnson, 27: Stabbed to death Tuesday, April 8, in Long Beach. Johnson's cousin has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge.
Herbert Theodore Shepard, 51: Died Tuesday, April 8, after being shot April 5 in Long Beach.
Brian Ramirez, 20: Shot to death Sunday, April 6, in Van Nuys.
Thomas Scott Taylor, 60: Beaten to death Jan. 28 in Long Beach. Five men have pleaded not guilty to a murder charge.
