Patrick Kim Ho, 45

Patrick Ho, a 45-year-old Asian man, was stabbed to death Sunday, Aug. 1, in the 1300 block of West Carson Street in Harbor Gateway, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ho and a group of people were using drugs at his home about 5:40 a.m. when he got into an argument with Jesse Hendricks, a 28-year-old white man, according to an LAPD news release.

Enraged, Hendricks pulled out a knife and stabbed Ho several times. Authorities were called and he was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, police said.

Later that day, LAPD Harbor police arrested Hendricks in connection with Ho’s killing. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
